Gallery 4222 is a Long Island art venue that hosts anything from simple photography shows to full sculptural installations. Shows vary from month to month and bring in both young and eager to old and savvy artists. In the past, Gallery 4222 has hosted poetry readings from former Suffolk Poet Laureate George Wallace, the Down Port Outdoor Film Festival as well as numerous shows from artists across Long Island. Located just off Main Street in Port Jefferson, you can stop in before or after dinner at nearby restaurants.
