The Nutty Irishman has quickly become a well-known brand on Long Island. With big-brother Bay Shore doing so well, it only figured we'd start seeing splinters pop up, and sure enough Main Street in Farmingdale quickly became home to another Nutty.

The Nassau branch is not as large as its Suffolk sibling, but it nonetheless has become a regular hang that draws from all over the island. There's a jukebox, but most who come here aren't familiar with it, being they're either ensconced in sports on the tube, or it's off because the DJ is spinning. Then again, it could be one of the popular cover bands make their stop here to rock the room.

Open 7 days a week, there's rarely a night to rest, between football, wings, the music, and the hundreds who flock here. The place itself isn't the biggest, but the bar in front and the bigger bar in back means that even on the busiest of nights, at least half the crowd is able to get drinks all at once. With a sizeable backyard open all year for smokers, and a medium sized dancefloor, you can make a winter home or refuge from the Hamptons in the summer when you're not into driving 30 exits east on Sunrise Highway.

Dress code is loose, but the doorman has the final say, so keep it casual but decent.
