Lawan is a perfect addition to the growing Patchogue community of restaurants. It serves traditional Thai cuisine and their skilled chef was trained at the top culinary school in Bangkok, which shows when the colorful dishes arrive at your table. Lawan also offers an elegant, modern decor complete with museum lit artifacts for the full ethnic effect.

Menu options include a range of appetizers, fish, curry and vegetarian dishes (including a great fried tofu) as well as roast duck. Compared to other Thai restaurants, Lawan did not over-saturate their curry with spice; their dishes are fresh. A selection of Thai wines, beers and cocktails compliment and complete meals and don't forget to end the evening with their Roti dessert - a crepe willed with a touch of sweetened condensed milk.
