The Islip Art Museum is the leading exhibition space for contemporary art on Long Island. The Museum presents five exhibitions a year in its main galleries. Exhibitions are organized to reflect issues and concerns in the current art world.

Formerly known as ShiBar, Zen Lounge is gay owned and operated. The Asian inspired industrial decor offers a calming, yet exciting atmosphere. Zen Lounge offers many distinct martinis such as the Zen Tini, Tongue Tango and the Mistress as well as traditional favorites such as their Appletini and Flirtini. Weekly events include Boyz Night, Theme Thursdays and Remix Fridays.
