Every wednesday night Cool Beanz in St James hosts a live acoustic event. Local and regional musicians (mostly guitar) play all original material and are required to have at least an hour of material and a cd available for purchase - just to make sure the performers are serious about their music. Best of all, their crisp recordings of each performance are available for download/podcast.

Log on to their website to hear some past performances or check the event calendar for upcoming performances. Cool Beanz serves coffee, baked goods among other items. An open mic is also hosted every Saturday (7:30pm signup, 8:00pm performances)
